Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. For us, it was spending quality time with family that traveled into town for the first time in many months. The holidays certainly brought much needed joy to our family. As I am sure with many, we were all concerned with keeping ourselves and others safe and healthy.  Our family, for the most part, was spared from the spread of Covid-19 as we kept our gatherings to small groups and took all the proper precautions that come with doing so. However, the New Year quickly brought on new challenges to our company that we had been lucky to avoid, until now. All our employees came down with Covid in the second week of this month. This created a real challenge for our small company which resulted in a short-term closure of our retail center. We became resourceful and responded to the change. We took the time to regroup, clean and focus on opportunities beyond our walk-in business. The Equipment Service Association has wide variety of members from all parts of the United States and of many different revenue sizes. I expect in the short coming weeks or months, we will all have challenges related to employee shortages from the new variant of the pandemic. I truly believe that in the long run it will make all our companies stronger through changes needed to keep our businesses growing and striving.

I hope everyone has a wonderful start to the New Year!
