Company History
Originally named Certified Fluid Consultants (CFC), we were founded in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1990 as a consulting, training, and field service firm working with Midwest industrial companies. Since then, CFC has experienced national and international growth in both training and consulting. In late 1999, CFC acquired Solar Comp, a computer training and consulting firm founded in 1994. This enabled CFC to branch out into the Learning Management arena, offering a blend of multiple training mediums. The combined company was renamed CFC-Solar Inc. In 2010 a state of the art Studio was created to broadcast Training Sessions and create Electronic Training Collateral.
In 2013, CFC-Solar was renamed CFC Industrial Training to provide a multifaceted approach to training, troubleshooting, consulting, and learning management featuring groundbreaking products such as the Interactive Technical Manual “ITM” and eLearning. Blazing new trails with real-time data, and hydraulic digital twinning; CFC has continually succeeded in empowering our customers by sharing our expertise and equipping them with truly unique learning technologies.
Unique Products or Services
CFC Industrial Training is a leader in providing hands-on technical training, consulting, troubleshooting and field services; offering unique solutions to any industry that uses fluid power, electrical, pneumatic, PLC, or multi-craft systems. Our consulting and training classes are conducted by recognized, certified experts, all of whom have practical experience in the latest industrial and mobile technologies. We have provided start-up and engineering support to clients the world over, while maintaining close, customer-centric service.
CFC’s Interactive electronic Technical Manual, the ITM, is a cutting-edge training and technical reference tool.
The ITM documents and describes machine systems with customized troubleshooting videos, interactive schematics, and photo navigation, pinpointing and describing specific components. It can be created as part of a training program, implemented as a maintenance and troubleshooting resource, or used to launch Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and digital twinning endeavors efficaciously. OEM’s and fluid power distributors may also leverage the ITM as a revenue source via redistribution and interactive parts ordering.
Our technical expertise paired with our state of-the-art studio allows us to utilize the latest technology to document and explain industrial and mobile systems and concepts. Educational and promotional multimedia can be affordably developed with the assuredness of Subject Matter accuracy.
Unique Capabilities or Core Competency
We believe including Hands-on equipment and take-a-parts in our training classes is critical. Students can complete troubleshooting labs to give them a better understanding on the topics covered in class and how it’s used. Our custom training, specific to client equipment, allows students to not just learn but use schematics they are familiar with.
